Caring for your Fleshlight

Caring for your fleshlight is quite simple and if you follow these steps your Fleshlight should last a very very long time. After you finish using your Fleshlight you need to clean it out. I find the easiest way to do this is to run hot water through the Fleshlight for a few minutes. Just hold one end of the fleshlight up to the sink and let the water flow through it. Hold it there for a minute or two and then turn the Fleshlight over and run water through the insert in the opposite direction. I have found this does a great job of cleaning out any cum that you have deposited inside.

If you want to do a deep cleaning you can use isopropyl alcohol. You can either pour some in the canal and slosh it around, or if you want to do a really deep cleaning buy a whole bottle of it, pour it in the sink and let your fleshlight soak in it. I find that 99% of the time the water trick is plenty to keep the insert clean.

After you have cleaned out your insert you need to dry it off. First off shake as much water out of the insert as you can. Then you can either place your insert in a well ventilated area until it’s nice and dry, or you can take a more aggressive approach, which is what I generally do. Once I have cleaned it out and shaken off any excess water, I like to take a thin cloth. like a handkerchief, and run it through the insert. Doing this quickly dries it off enough to allow you to store it.

After you have dried off your Fleshlight, you may find that it’s a bit sticky. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. If you would like to remove the stickiness just put some powder on the insert. The Fleshlight people recommend corn starch, but I, personally, use some good ol’ fashioned baby powder. Don’t bother powdering the interior; there really is no point to it. Just give the outside a nice, light coating and it will really help combat stickiness and keep your Fleshlight feeling silky smooth.

To store the Fleshlight I like to keep them outside of the case. This makes sure air is able to flow through them just in case any moisture is still inside. If you do store them in their case I would leave the end caps loose to at least let some air flow through.

If you follow these basic steps your Fleshlight should last for years. Just make sure you clean it after use, and allow it to dry before putting it away. Simple as that.
